Q: What is the size, really?

A: Our Scale Model elements are 3/4″ = 1 foot. The grids are marked off in 3/4″ squares for easy measuring up to 46′ X 30′ deep.

The model stage is 32′ wide and 20′ deep (that is an actual 24″ X 13″). The front is 25′ wide X 15” tall and the proscenium arch opening is 19” X 10 ½”.

Q: Can I buy with a PO?

A: Absolutely. Don’t forget to include freight. Just upload your PO from the cart page.

Q: What are these made out of?

A: These scale models are made from PVC plastic. They are very durable, and unlike wood, they don’t chip or get out of square, if they are dropped on a corner.

Q: Can I paint them?

A: Yes, we are testing which paints do best and the easiest way to remove the paint for the next show. Plain cheap acrylic works fine, but it is a dark color so you may want to do a solid color base/primer to start. We have found Paint Pens definitely need an light colored acrylic base coat.

Q: Are they 3D Printed?

A: No

Q: I broke one of the hinges; how do I replace it?

A: Just pull the broken piece out with needle nosed pliers and replace it with a baggie tie, cut to size, and fill the hole with household glue.  

Q: Why are they 3/4″ = 1 foot instead of 1″ = 1 foot? 

A: They fit on your desk better. They make a better Cross Curriculum project with Math; 

just 1″ = 1′ doesn’t make much of a project. 

Q: The set for my Spring show has more platforms than my set came with. Can I get extras?

A: Yes, every piece is available individually. 

Q: Someone lost a 1X1 platform out of my set, can I even get that small of a piece individually?

A: Yes, we may even have a few wood pieces left if yours is wood. (Just Palco or Table Top sets  though, other brands are a usually a different scale). Even if yours is the wood set, the plastic pieces will fill in just fine, they are exactly the same size.

Q: I want to get several classroom sets for student projects, is there a discount?

A: Not at this time, but the freight is quite a bit less when we ship several sets in the same box.

Q: What does this scale equal in doll house furniture?

A: This scale is called 1:16 or 1/16 in doll house furniture. Ebay has several dealers.
